HAVE YOUR OWN DEFINITION OF "SWAG"

Over the years my type and selection of style has changed almost drastically. I got into the mode of not caring what people thought of me and what people thought of the way I dressed. I started my own style  that fit me and my personality and once you be comfortable with YOUR style, YOUR swag you wont care what people thought about what you wore on Tuesday.

     Lately, I've been in the mood for up-cycling and that , that was going to be my new approach and I have so many clothes that I have outgrown and some pieces of clothing aren't really MY style, but when i realized I could take and cut or alter that certain piece of clothing and basically make it new again I was all for it. Ive actually gotten that idea from my Grammie who loves style as well and her style is more vintage and I know very few people who can literally rock that style like my Grammie can. She has very old clothing and she will go and get it altered herself by a seamstress which is so smart PLUS you get the amazing feeling of BASICALLY creating your own piece of clothing and you practically never have to worry about someone having the same blouse or dress as you.

    

 Also, you get compliments on you clothing and some ask where you got it and being able to say you made it makes it all the better.

Can you say Genie Pants?

 OR ALSO KNOWN AS HAREM PANTS!
So people have so many names for these pants , but Genie is the most common because they look like your basic baggy at the leg part then tight on the ankle. They are so comfortable I wore gold sandals with these from Charlotte Russe but many style it with some Combat Boots.

I obviously in the picture shown wore just a plain black shirt and Gold glasses .

Next time I wear this I'll probably add some more accessories (gold if I wear gold sandals) . I'm looking a little bare in the picture .. 

PS* : THIS OUTFIT IS SO COMFY.

Disneyland Outfit

So a few months ago I took a trip to the Happiest Place On Earth .... DISNEYLAND!!! I spent the entire day there with some of my best friends. 

Disneyland can get really chilly so I made sure to dress appropriate for the weather out there. 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE COLORS.

•So I wore a pink sweater that had Mickey Mouse on it.

• Purple Scarf 

•All Black Leggings

•Camal Colored Combat Boots

•Minnie Mouse Ears !!

I was warm,comfortable, and cute! for Disneyland

The Grunge Look

Grunge? How about Yes!!

So I wore this outfit for a spirit day at school and got so many compliments for it! I realized that this outfit was not only an amazing spirit day outfit, but a style I could rock any day. 

This outfit included: 

•High-wasted shorts (made by me)
      *wore an all black belt because shorts were a bit big 

•Beatles Tank Top
      *wore a black ban-doe from Charlotte Russe under the tank.

• Red/Blue Flannel 

•Black and White High-Top Converse

• Necklace (Peace Sign)

I put my hair up in just a basic bun (like a doughnut) and added an all black head-band

This outfit was very simple to put together an doesn't have to be just a SPIRIT DAY OUTFIT! 

Winter Formal Dress 2014

My dress I wore for Winter Formal which was last week on January 25th. This a black high-low strapless dress with gold studded rim at the top from Windsor.

My heels were black and gold they're called "HOTT HOTT" the brand was Fiomi Night . They buckled at the ankle & They weren't that tall (thankfully), but went amazing with my dress.

My accessories included: 

•Black Bracelet with Gold Studs that's sorta matched my dress.

•Gold mini hoop earring for my first earring hole & just regular gold studs for my second earring hole.

The Rule To Adding Accessories📜

I know we all love our accessories .. A necklace here , A bracelet there, a pair of earrings there , but do you ever think you maybe over doing it .. Just a little?

Here's a few scenarios :

Scenario #1

• Out to dinner you're wearing a stunning black  strapless high-low dress and there are gold studs at the top of the dress .. You wanna add some accessories so you think to your self ... Gold studded earring would look fabulous .Check.  How about a black and studded bracelet. Check. You feel like your neck is a little bare. So you want to add a necklace of your choice (hopefully you think gold),but guess what that's WRONG! You can't wear a necklace if there's already some type of jewel or accessory pre-made onto your dress. That's a NO-NO. Leave your outfit alone and your accessories you look good now just add some cute heels with it.


Scenario #2

• You're on your way to go walk downtown with your best buds and have your cute and stylish outfit on and ready to go. You're wearing an infinite black and grey scarf with a knit sweater and dark denim jean with black combat boots ... You're feeling a little bare, but don't know what to add .. Try a bracelet and some cute stud earrings that's all you need your scarf is already an accessory you don't wanna overdo it 😌

Winter Season Clothing

I dont know where you live, but where I live the weather dropped to 46 degrees .. Now thats FREEZING!!! To keep warm this winter season, but also stay in style theres these totally fashionable ideas.  OUTFIT #1: A cute outfit would be some denim jeans with a cute top maybe something with a really cute saying and a grey & white cardigan.. Your shoes could definitely vary in this oufit from wearing all white hightop converse to wearing all black or grey combat boots. OUTFIT #2: The piece of this outfit thats gonna make i pop is your choice of LEGGINGS yes this outfit involves leggings sooo... Im liking the idea of tribal legging with boots that are mid-length to your chin and a cozy sweater (baggy sweater may be cute) with a cute beanie. Depending on your color choice for your leggings will set off the entire outfit.
